How is the travel organized, and what entry requirements should I be aware of?
Arrival in Medellín (MDE):
Your journey begins at José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) in Medellín. From there, it’s a scenic 45-minute drive to the accommodation. We can arrange transportation for you in advance to ensure a smooth arrival. Please make sure to share your arrival times with us as early as possible so we can coordinate everything for you. Alternatively, airport taxis or Uber are readily available.
Domestic flight to Bahía Solano (Day 3):
On the third day of the retreat, we will travel together from the accommodation to Medellín’s local airport (Olaya Herrera Airport, EOH). From there, a short, one-hour domestic flight will take us to the lush and peaceful region of Bahía Solano.
Transfers in Bahía Solano and along the Pacific Coast:
Upon arrival in Bahía Solano, your journey continues with a comfortable transfer from the local airport to our retreat location, where you’ll immediately feel the tranquility of nature. Along the Pacific Coast, transport will primarily be by tuk-tuks and small motorized boats (locally known as “lanchas”), allowing us to explore the region seamlessly and authentically.
On the final day of the retreat:
We will depart from Nuquí and take a direct flight back to Medellín’s Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH), where the retreat will conclude. The flight duration is approximately one hour. Please plan your onward travel accordingly and inform us of your post-retreat arrangements to ensure a seamless experience.
Entry requirements: Visa: For most travelers, no visa is required for stays of up to 90 days. We recommend checking the specific requirements for your country to ensure a smooth experience.
Travel Health Insurance: For your peace of mind, we kindly ask that you have valid travel health insurance, which includes coverage for emergencies, medical evacuation, and any unexpected situations. Please send us a copy of your insurance certificate prior to the retreat to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place.

While there are no direct flights from most European cities to Medellín, airlines such as Lufthansa, Iberia, and Air Europa offer convenient connections with layovers, often through major hubs like Madrid, Bogotá, or Panama City. Travelers from cities like Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Zurich, Vienna, Brussels, and Paris can access these routes. For international travelers, connections via Miami, Bogotá, or Panama City provide seamless access to Medellín.

Yes, optional services such as massages, Reiki treatments, private sessions, diving, or snorkeling can be booked. These additional services must be booked in advance so we can integrate your preferences into the planning.
What is the climate like?
The climate on the Pacific coast is tropical and humid, creating a lush environment that fosters a deep connection to nature. Pack breathable clothing that dries quickly, and be aware that clothes can mildew due to the high humidity. A detailed packing list will be provided in advance.
What should I bring?
This retreat invites you to reconnect with nature and yourself in the stunning surroundings of Colombia’s Pacific coast. To make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, please bring the following:
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance covering cancellations and medical care is required. Please bring your certificate.
Yoga Equipment: We’ll be practicing outdoors in nature. Bring your own yoga mat and a sarong or light blanket for evening Yoga Nidra under the stars.
Clothing: Pack light, breathable clothing for the day, a warmer layer for the evening, comfortable shoes, sandals, swimwear, sunglasses, and a hat.

What about Internet and connectivity?
Our retreat locations intentionally have no Wi-Fi, giving you the chance to truly connect with yourself and fully embrace the beauty of nature. We are located in a national park—a space that invites you to disconnect from daily life and simply be.
If you’d like to stay connected, you can easily get a SIM card from Claro or Tigo at Medellín airport. They’re affordable and provide coverage, although speeds on the Pacific Coast may be limited.

Colombia has made significant progress in terms of safety in recent years. Medellín and the Pacific coast are generally safe and offer a relaxed stay. Colombians are very friendly and helpful. Please check current travel advisories.
What currency is used in Colombia, and how can I handle payments?
The official currency is the Colombian Peso (COP).
Cash withdrawal: You can withdraw cash at ATMs in Medellin using your credit card. This is the easiest way to get Pesos on-site
Payments: In cities, many places accept credit cards. For rural areas, we recommend withdrawing Pesos and having some Euros as an emergency reserve.

The remaining balance is due no later than 90 days before the start of the retreat.

No refunds – the entire amount will be retained.
Why is this fair?
Our retreats are carefully organized with love and attention to detail. Since the number of participants is limited, your spot is reserved just for you. A last-minute cancellation means that we might not be able to fill your place. This policy secures the planning process – for you and for us.
Protect yourself!
We recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance. In case something unexpected happens, your costs will be covered by the insurance.
Transfer of Spot
If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your spot to another person up to 30 days before the start of the retreat. Please contact us in advance to arrange the details.
Late Arrival or Early Departure
In the case of late arrival or early departure, no (partial) refunds will be issued.

Our carefully planned program adapts to natural conditions. Weather and tides may influence the schedule, leading to adjustments or rescheduling of activities. Rest assured, all planned experiences will take place – sometimes at a more suitable time.
What transportation options are there on the Pacific coast?
On the Pacific coast of Colombia, travel often requires boats, as many places are only accessible by sea. Boats (Lanchas) are the common means of transport between coastal villages and for excursions, including whale watching and nature experiences. These boat rides are an integral part of your retreat experience and offer you the chance to experience the region from a unique perspective. Note: If you suffer from seasickness, we recommend bringing the appropriate medication, as some activities include boat excursions.
Is there a participant limit?
Yes, we place great value on personal and individual support during the retreat. Therefore, the group is limited to a maximum of 12 participants to provide you with an especially intensive and personalized experience.
