Content Questions
What is Yoga, and who is it suitable for?
Yoga means union, connecting body, mind, and breath in a holistic practice. It’s accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. In our classes, we teach traditional yoga, which goes beyond physical postures (Asanas) to include breathing practices (Pranayama) and meditation. Breath and movement flow together to calm the mind, giving you the opportunity to fully experience this integrative tradition.
What can I expect in a yoga session, and how can it benefit me?
Each session begins with a short relaxation to help you arrive in the present moment and center yourself. This is followed by Asana and Pranayama, closing with either a final Meditation or Yoga Nidra (conscious yogic sleep). There’s no fixed routine – every class is tailored to the people in the room. We meet you where you are and shape the flow to fit your needs, creating space for growth, reflection, and connection. You’ll leave feeling supported, empowered, and with a deep sense of clarity and ease.
What makes this experience unique:
Tailored, not standardized – each session adapts to the group.
Responsive to your needs and energy.
Focus on relaxation, connection, and well-being.
Can I start without any experience or special essentials?
No prior experience is needed. Everything you need – from mats to props – is ready and waiting at the studio. Just come as you are, barefoot and in comfortable, flexible clothing. Cozy socks for relaxation are always welcome. Bring your excitement, joy, or simply an open mind – we’ll take care of the rest.
What if I’m concerned about keeping up with others?
Yoga isn’t about keeping up with others. It’s about being in the present moment and consciously experiencing the connection between breath and movement. Each participant is encouraged to adapt the practice to their unique needs. We teach traditional yoga that helps you develop your personal practice – free from external expectations or comparisons. Everyone has different physical conditions and challenges, and our classes focus on helping you find your own pace and balance.
Can yoga boost my self-confidence and help with mental challenges?
Yes, yoga can help boost your self-confidence and support you in dealing with mental challenges. Through specific breathing practices and flowing movements, it calms your nervous system, reduces stress, and promotes inner balance. Many of our participants share how yoga not only brings them more peace but also improves their sleep and overall sense of well-being. Yoga helps you approach everyday life with greater clarity and strength – a powerful way to feel more balanced, resilient, and satisfied.
Do I need any specific physical abilities?
No, yoga is adaptable and suitable for people with all physical abilities. The practice can be adjusted to individual needs. If you have any health concerns, we recommend consulting with a doctor and informing us beforehand.
Are there age restrictions?
Yoga is suitable for all ages. The practice can be adapted to any age and physical condition, allowing everyone to participate.
What should I do if I experience minor discomfort after yoga or a massage?
Mild muscle soreness after yoga or reactions like headaches following a massage are completely normal. They show that your body is responding actively – whether by engaging rarely used muscles or through detoxification after the massage. Support yourself by drinking plenty of warm water, taking time to rest, and allowing your body to recover. With regular practice or treatments, you’ll feel stronger, more balanced, and at ease in your body.
Should I drink water during the session?
To maintain internal warmth and energy, it’s best not to drink during practice. Warm water before and after the session is ideal for supporting natural detoxification.
Can I practice yoga with physical concerns?
Gentle, adapted yoga can positively influence various issues. Please inform us in advance of any health concerns so we can tailor the practice to your needs. A doctor’s advice is also recommended.
Is yoga suitable during special phases like pregnancy or menstruation?
Yes, yoga can be particularly beneficial during these times. Gentle Asanas and breathing practices can help relieve tension. Always listen to your body, and feel free to inform us beforehand so we can offer an adapted practice.
Men and yoga – a return to tradition?
Did you know that yoga was originally practiced by men in India – and still remains an important part of male tradition there today? What was once developed by yogis as a holistic practice for the body, mind, and inner strength is now being rediscovered by men all over the world to build strength, flexibility, and balance. Yoga also helps you maintain and improve your mobility, release tension, and counteract imbalances caused by sports or daily life.
You don’t need to be particularly flexible or experienced to start. We’ll support you in finding practices that suit you and can easily fit into your daily routine. Give it a try and discover how yoga can energize and bring balance to your life.
Can yoga help improve my eating habits?
Yoga fosters body awareness and mindfulness, which often leads to a more conscious approach to nutrition.
Do I need a particular mindset to practice yoga?
Yoga is a practice open to people of all beliefs and backgrounds. It promotes a mindful lifestyle and is neutral in terms of worldview.
